Job Description
Hire Resolve a reputable recruitment agency is currently seeking a talented Demand Planner to join our client in the FMCG industry in Cape Town. As a Demand Planner you will play a crucial role in analysing sales data and market trends to forecast demand and ensure optimal inventory levels. Additionally you will collaborate with crossfunctional teams to develop effective strategies that meet customer demands while minimizing costs.
Responsibilities
- Analyze sales data demand patterns and consumer behavior
- Assess supply market dynamics supply capacity and supply channels
- Develop and implement seasonal procurement plans
- Manage master scheduling and inventory replenishment
- Utilize Blue Yonder forecasting system for demand predictions
- Optimize stock service levels inventory return and category profit profiles
- Continuously monitor and report on metrics
- Maintain internal and external stakeholder relations
- Leverage stakeholder networks to identify new business opportunities
- Apply digital technologies to enhance business processes culture and customer experiences
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree
- 2 years of related experience (preferably as a Demand or Merchandise Planner)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Blue Yonder (JDA) Planning is an advantage
- Willingness to work long hours during peak times
