Position Overview: Windwalker Group is seeking energetic enthusiastic and dynamic individuals to join our team as Unarmed Security Guards. In this critical role you will help maintain the safety and security of our facilities monitor access points and provide assistance to visitors. Key Responsibilities:
- Gate Security:
- Monitor access points to ensure only authorized personnel and vehicles enter the premises.
- Verify identification and credentials of all incoming individuals and vehicles.
- Enforce security protocols to prevent unauthorized access and address any suspicious activities.
- Respond promptly to alarms and distress calls takingappropriate actionas per established protocols.
- Visitor Assistance:
- Greet visitors guests and vendors courteouslyproviding assistanceand directions as needed.
- Issue visitor passes and ensure compliance with visitor management policies.
- Address inquiries and provide informationregardingfacility amenities events or procedures.
- Dispatching Duties:
- Operate communication equipment including twoway radios and telephones to dispatch security personnel or emergency services.
- Receive and relay messages requests forassistance and incident reports clearly and concisely.
- Coordinate with onsite and offsite personnel to ensuretimelyresponses to incidents or emergencies.
- Maintainaccuraterecords of dispatch activities including logs of calls responses and resolutions.
- Emergency Response:
- Assistin emergency response procedures including evacuations lockdowns and medical emergencies.
- Support emergency services personnel by guiding them to incident locations and providing access to restricted areas.
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent;additionaltraining in security or law enforcement is preferred.
- Proven experience in security dispatchingpublicsafetyorvehicle patrol.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability toremaincalm and composed under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and observation skills.
- Proficiencyin using communication equipment and computer systems.
- Knowledge of security protocols emergency response procedures and relevant laws and regulations.
- Physical fitness to stand or patrol for extended periods.
- Experience in foot and vehicle patrol.
- Strong report writing skills and ability to articulate information effectively.
- Commitment to community engagement and fostering positive interactions.
