Position Summary
The North Zone operations team is at an exciting stage of launching new projects in Uttar Pradesh. Indus Action has signed an MoU with The Government of Uttar Pradesh (GoUP) to transform the delivery of social security benefits to millions of construction and unorganized sector workers across the state. This partnership marks a significant step toward digital governance and enhanced social
protection. Through this collaboration Indus Action will support the GoUP in modernizing the states worker welfare system by implementing digital solutions and streamlined processes. The initiative will focus on benefits delivered through the Building and Other Construction Workers (BoCW) Board and the Unorganized Workers (UoW) Social Security Board.
Indus Action is looking for a professional who can take ownership of critical technological aspects of these projects and support the state lead in driving towards crucial outputs and outcomes. The Technical Product Manager will be working with the technology vendor and the technical team of the board to work on different technical products owned by the board for workers registration claims access and Access collection.The role may also involve supporting operations in other states in the North zone as per project requirements.
Role and Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities would include:
Manage and oversee projects from time scope budget and risk perspective
Create review and monitor project plans and track deliverables
Work closely and actively with different teams to understand their requirements
Hold regular technical team meetings with the vendor to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects
Prepare and present progress reports for senior management and other stakeholders in the government department
As an individual coordinator take up some technical tasks for delivery and completion

Skills and Qualifications
The applicant must be a graduate (BE in CS or IT preferred) with at least 5 years of work experience preferably in the social sector with at least 2 years of project management and endtoend delivery experience
Excellent leadership abilities interpersonal and communications skills
Attention to detail with the ability to problemsolve under pressure
An individual who is a gogetter and who can strategize and implement largescale programs
Able to work across teams and translating government briefs to tech team deliverables
Candidates who have partnered with the government and built relations to drive largescale projects for 1 year shall be preferred
Should be well versed with principles of designing thinking planning and budget management quality control and monitoring and evaluation
Capable of understanding technology to set up MIS systems and envisioning the scope that technology can play to make the implementation smoother
A strong local understanding of language (Hindi) culture terrain
Experience in working with technologies such as HTML PHP ASP MVC Java Script jQuery SQL SERVER 2012 and RESTful web API (at least a few of these)

Compensation
The compensation will be based on Indus Actions compensation bench marking rubric. The
compensation range will depend on the qualifications experience and fit for the role.
The candidate would need to use his/her own laptop and the organization will bear the annual
maintenance cost up to INR 12000 per year as per actuals.
