Job Description
Location: Downtown Vancouver (InPerson)
Schedule: 45 days/week 8hour shifts Wednesday/Thursday through Sunday Approx. 3240 hours/week
Term: Seasonal May through August 4 months)
Compensation: $19/hour commission (average total earnings of $24$30/hour)

Discover Canada Tours a familyowned Canadian tour operator celebrating 20 years of adventures in 2025 is hiring energetic and enthusiastic Summer Sales Representatives to promote and sell unforgettable local and regional travel experiences. Whether its a local attraction a day trip to Whistler a scenic escape to Victoria or a multiday journey through the Canadian Rockies youll help visitors craft amazing memories while gaining valuable experience in the tourism industry.
What Youll Be Doing:
- Engage with tourists from around the globe at our booths in downtown Vancouver (Jack Poole Plaza Library Square) and at our retail storefront
- Sell day trips and attractions such as sightseeing tours HopOnHopOff passes and weekend getaways
- Answer questions about local attractions and destinations with confidence and enthusiasm
- Use our booking system to process tour reservations and issue tickets
- Manage your materials (maps brochures sales float) and keep daily sales records up to date
- Upsell additional experiences to maximize guest satisfaction and sales performance
- Collaborate with the sales team to share customer insights and improve our directtoconsumer strategy
- Join FAM trips to experience the tours and attractions youll be recommending
- Occasionally greet tour groups at departure points and support streetlevel promotions using tools like our DCT Marketing Bike
Minimum Requirements:
- Being legally eligible to work in Canada is a must
- 0.53 years of previous work experience in sales or customer service in the Tourism Hospitality Events or Entertainment industries is a must
