Responsibilities:
- Works in a safe manner follows all established safety protocol.
- Follows Work Instructions procedures and company policies including safety procedures.
- Supervises finite production schedules for manufacture of industrial or commercial products
- Confers with department supervisors to define progress of work to provide information on changes in processing methods received from methods or engineering departments.
- Establishes a feedback loop with production schedulers and production personnel to resolve problems affecting production schedules.
- Uses shop floor control staff to isolate problems and to develop systems to prevent the problems from reoccurring.
- Support development of all employees to their full potential; establish clearly defined expectations and goals.
- Notify management of work progress material availability and potential production problems to ensure the personnel equipment material and services are provided as needed.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects
- Performs other related duties as needed
Requirements include:
- Experience or education equal to ten years experience in operations. Specific to manufacturing and production control.
- Minimum 5 years of SAP Experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Word Excel PowerPoint etc.
- Professional written and oral communication skills
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and set priorities
- Strong problem solving and mathematical skills.
- Motivated to operate independently and accepting/seeking other inputs
- Organized with strong time management skills ability to adapt to priority changes
- Strong decision maker with ability to clearly communicate in a supportive business environment
