Job Description
At BeReal we are dedicated to authenticity in social media. By encouraging users to share unfiltered moments we foster genuine connections and celebrate real life. We are now an international team of 70 and have 40M monthly active users. Backed by Voodoo our team is fully focused on scaling BeReal into an iconic social network used by hundreds of millions.
Role
We are looking for a talented Head of Data deeply passionate about algorithms data science dataengineering and datadriven decisions transforming raw data into clear actionable business insights who will play a key role in the development of BeReal.
- Tackle strategic and operational challenges by analyzing large and complex datasets
- Enable product teams to independently navigate Amplitude dashboards and make informed decisions
- Provide actionable recommendations from A/B tests to shape the product roadmap
- Build and scale a robust data infrastructure that addresses both business intelligence and data science needs
- Lead and mentor a team of Data Analysts Data Engineers and Data Scientists

- Infra: GCP BigQuery Spanner
- ETL: Airflow DBT
- Product Analytics: Amplitude
- Data visualisation: Hex Tableau
Profile
- 8 years of experience in Data (Science Analysis Engineering)
- Extensive experience in modeling and analyzing high volumes of userlevel data
- Proven track record of successfully deploying data science projects to production
- Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently on analytically complex topics
- Experience in designing and analyzing complex A/B tests for mobile applications
- Advanced knowledge of statistical tools and models
- Fluent in French and English
- Experience implementing measures to ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (nice to have)
- Experience developing and deploying recommendation systems (nice to have)
