Job Description
We are seeking a dedicate and compassionate Employment Specialist to join our team at Youth Advocate Programs Inc. As an Employment Specialist you will make a meaningful impact by providing guidance support and resources to individuals as they develop life skills and pursue their employment goals.
Status: Part Time Hourly
FLSA Classification: NonExempt
Summary of the position:

The Employment Specialist will plan develop and implement employmentrelated services and life skills trainings to support individuals in achieving their goals.
Hourly Rate: $20.00 per hour
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in psychology or a related field or
- Bachelors degree in any field with 1 year of experience or
- Associates Degree or 60 college credits with 3 years of paid experience working with young adults/and or adults or
- High School Diploma or GED and one year of paid or volunteer experience working with young adults and/or adults.
- At least 2 years of experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Basic computer knowledge
- Reliable transportation valid drivers license and current automobile insurance are required.
- BiLingual/Spanish speaking is a plus.
