Essential Skills & Experience:

• Proven Expertise: 10 years of handson experience in mechanical engineering specializing in mechanical utilities including chilled water compressed air natural gas plumbing fire protection HVAC kitchen systems and areas of public assembly. Your experience in a consulting engineering environment is highly valued!
• Licensure to Lead: Hold a Professional Engineer (PE) registration.
• Educational Foundation: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Software Savvy: Proficient in AutoCAD and/or Revit for design and documentation.
• Communication Ace: Exceptional oral and written communication skills enabling you to articulate complex ideas clearly.
• ClientFocused Mindset: An entrepreneurial spirit with a strong clientcentric attitude dedicated to understanding and exceeding client expectations.
• Project Delivery Pro: Demonstrated ability to meet tight project deadlines while maintaining the highest quality standards.

• Technical Mastery: Proficient in performing heat gain calculations (using Trane Trace HAP and/or Elite) sizing HVAC equipment conducting psychrometric analysis performing air balancing and developing detailed ductwork layouts.
• Piping Prowess: Comprehensive knowledge of domestic water service and distribution piping systems as well as sanitary waste and vent piping.

What youll be doing to engineer success:

As our Senior Mechanical Engineer youll be at the forefront of critical infrastructure projects including:

• Leading the Design Journey: Conducting detailed field surveys selecting optimal systems and developing comprehensive engineering drawings and specifications essential for bidding and construction.
• Ensuring Quality and Precision: Overseeing the preparation and meticulous review of punch lists and construction observation reports.
• ProblemSolving Powerhouse: Reviewing submittals and responding to RFIs with accuracy and efficiency.
• Mentoring and Guiding: Supervising and reviewing the work of junior engineers fostering their growth and ensuring toptier deliverables.
• Technical Expertise Hub: Performing intricate heat gain calculations and mentoring others in these processes.
• HVAC System Architect: Sizing and selecting HVAC equipment to meet diverse project requirements.
• Dehumidification Dynamo: Conducting thorough psychrometric analysis of dehumidification processes.
• Space Optimization Strategist: Designing and laying out mechanical equipment rooms for efficient space utilization and code compliance.
• System Integration Guru: Identifying chase requirements for seamless mechanical system integration.
• Performance Optimizer: Performing air balancing analysis to maximize HVAC system performance.
• Layout and Design Authority: Developing detailed HVAC equipment layouts and ductwork designs.
• Water System Innovator: Designing domestic water service and distribution piping systems.
• Sanitary System Specialist: Sizing and laying out sanitary waste and vent piping.
• Technology Integrator: Utilizing AutoCAD and/or Revit to bring your designs to life.
