The Company
Our Client a leading ASX listed national property group has a fantastic opportunity for a driven Financial Accountant seeking their first move into Commerce. This opportunity sits within a closeknit team of experienced and high performing operators based in their Perth office.
The Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager the primary purpose of this position is to support timely and accurate management and financial reporting and tax compliance for the company including:
Your skills
- Preparation and review of monthly accounting journals reconciliations and working papers;
- Preparation of monthly management reporting to the Board and management;
- Income tax compliance and reporting indirect tax compliance and support with tax governance;
- Support with corporate finance facility management;
- Joint venture project accounting reporting and compliance;
- Annual budget preparation support as required; and
- Corporate governance and risk management activities.
Must Have
- CA/ CPA qualified or progressing towards completion with minimum 35years experience 2 of which in a similar role or professional services firm
- Proficient in Microsoft excel intermediate level user or higher.
- Strong time management and prioritising skills
- Excellent communicator able to comfortably interact with all staff within the business and external stakeholders.
- Accurate reliable tolerant resilient and determined and able to take ownership of projects and see them through to completion.
- Able to get on with others and be a teamplayer.
