Job Description:
What will you work on
The eCommerce Content Specialist is a critical member of the ECommerce Marketing team responsible for driving growth in online sales through strategic content development. This role involves planning creating and executing engaging and effective marketing content across various ecommerce sales channels.
The specialist will focus on converting online shoppers into buyers by crafting dynamic informative and creative product content while staying informed of the latest trends in online consumer behavior. With a strong background in driving organic rank and increasing customer conversions this role contributes significantly to the companys success in the online marketplace.
How will you create impact
- Write/edit clear concise clean and SEO optimized copy for new online accounts with a focus on Amazon listings as well as existing listings
- Optimize copy on frequent basis to incorporate new keywords into copy for best searchability
- Create compelling A/Enhanced product detail pages with GIFs and video content
- Management of all related content within content management system (Salsify)
- Collaborate with photography and brand teams to ensure bestinclass product/lifestyle imagery
- Work with translation team members to ensure international translations are created where needed to support ecommerce initiatives and growth with affiliate offices and countries
- Create and design Amazon Brand Stores adhering to brand style guides updating on a seasonal basis or as required
- Work with brand teams to provide insights into ecommerce opportunities and challenges within their product lines
- Prepare analyze and communicate reports to sales and internal teams regarding results of digital and ecommerce initiatives
- Regular communication with IT/Sales/Marketing/Photography
- Provide backup support for management of website content systems
- Attend sales summits and toy fairs as required
- Handle multiple and competing priorities and assignments
What are your skills and experience
- Ecommerce copywriting experience
- Expert copywriting skills and SEO certified with a focus on Amazon
- Experience with Amazon Vendor Central Helium 10 Syndigo Salsify
- Experience with content management tools and marketing automation programs
- Ability to handle multiple and competing priorities and assignments
- Experience with various Microsoft Office programs (Excel PowerPoint etc.
- Experience with SAP and Salsify
The anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in New York City is $60000 to $75000 per annum. The salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job years of experience within the required industry education etc. Spin Master Inc. is a multistate employer and this salary range may not reflect positions that work only in other states.
