Since 1981 Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) Toronto has served as a place to call home for families with seriously ill children undergoing treatment. RMHC Toronto encompasses a House for 81 families in downtown Toronto and seven Family Rooms in hospitals across the Greater Toronto Area and in Sudbury. The families we serve come from throughout Ontario across Canada and around the world.
We are looking for Three 3 Relief Family Services Coordinator Family Room to join our team in Toronto to work in the Family Room located within SickKids Hospital.
About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Manager Family Rooms the Relief Family Services Coordinator Family Room is the first line of communication with the Guest Family and is responsible for welcoming and providing service to all families utilizing Family Rooms. The Relief Family Services Coordinator Family Room facilitates the family intake and registration process. This role provides families with resources to adapt to communal living and settling into Toronto while also ensuring adherence to policies and procedures to provide a safe warm comfortable and compassionate environment for families guests and volunteers.
The successful candidate must be available to work shifts of a minimum of 8 hours and up to 12 hours. We are looking for individuals who would be eligible to work the following shifts: 4pm12am and 8pm8am Monday Sunday including statutory holidays often on short notice.
As a Relief Family Services Coordinator Family Room you will be called upon to provide support and coverage during staff absences or during periods of increased demand. This role is crucial in ensuring continuous and highquality service delivery within our organization.
