We are currently on the lookout to find funloving enthusiastic individuals to join our Dishwasher Team!
As a parttime Team Merlin Dishwasher you will perform duties to maintain kitchen work areas restaurant equipment and utensils in clean and orderly condition and will ensure the high standard of cleanliness and safety anticipated by our guests at this Gateway location.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize all glassware silverware flatware pots and pans in the restaurant.
- Responsible for the proper sanitation and cleanliness of all kitchens and food preparation areas including ovens grills stoves hoods fryers preparations slicers steam kettles tables and floors.
- Assist culinary staff during any special request or priorities as requested by management.
- Put away all clean utensils store and rotate stock in designated areas.
- Ensure uniform and appearance is clean and professional.
- Properly maintains dish machines to include cleaning water changing and chemical usage.
- Separate and remove trash and garbage and place it in designated containers; Steamclean or hoseout garbage cans and maintain loading dock.
- Responsibility to ensure compliance of Health Safety & Security within the workplace including COVID19 policies practices and regulations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Similar role experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as recipes safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Fun dynamic and friendly personality.
- Excellent communication listening and motivational skills.
- Hospitable nature with a desire to give service of the highest possible level.
- Able to work in areas with loud noises and confined spaces.
- Selfmotivated able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Must be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts including days nights weekends holidays and special events.
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged hours and interact with guests and employees in a fastpaced multitask environment in variable temperatures and weather conditions.
- Ability to life and carry up to 50 pounds manual dexterity in using equipment and tools and ability to reach bend stoop and climb stairs as needed.
