Volkswagen Moncton is the fastestgrowing Volkswagen Dealership in Atlantic Canada. With our Growing business we are currently looking to hire an Automotive Service Technician (Licensed or Apprentice).
**Must have own tools. Toolboxes and specialized tools will be provided by Volkswagen Moncton.**
Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm and some Saturdays from 9am to 1pm.

Responsibilities
- Basic vehicle maintenance: tire rotations and oil changes diagnosing complex problems and planning and executing vehicle repairs
- Isolate the systems or components that might have caused the problem
- Drive the vehicle for testing purposes or using various equipment including handheld and onboard compression gauges or diagnostic computers
- Maintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing as well as repairing vehicles
- Repair or replace worn parts ahead of the vehicles breakdown or damage
- Licensed Technicians would also be required to work on more complex jobs such as engine and transmission work
Qualifications
- Licensed Automotive Service Technician
- Apprentice through an accredited postsecondary institute
- Must have a valid drivers license and a clean drivers abstract
- Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team
- High level of integrity and work ethic
- Can effectively communicate automotive issues clearly
- Can work independently managing his or her time and work
