Job Summary:

The Service Manager will lead and enhance the highquality outcomefocused Care Services department at UMFC. This role involves overseeing operational and strategic planning budget management compliance with regulatory requirements collaboration with stakeholders implementation of traumainformed practices and driving innovation to meet community needs. The Service Manager will provide leadership mentorship and supervision to the Care Services Leadership Group.

Skills:

  • Demonstrated ability to manage and report on service delivery in the context of sector needs funding bodies legal compliance contractual obligations and organisational strategic direction.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Strategic thinking and planning skills
  • Budget management experience
  • Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience implementing traumainformed practices

Responsibilities:

  • Lead operational and strategic planning for Care Services
  • Develop manage and recast budgets as needed
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Implement traumainformed practices aligned with the Sanctuary Model
  • Drive innovation to meet community needs
  • Provide leadership mentorship and supervision to the Care Services Leadership Group

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Tertiary qualification in Social Sciences Social Work Psychology Management Community Welfare Practice or Human Services or any other appropriate discipline.
  • Extensive senior management experience.
