Maintenance Line Tech I

The Kraft Heinz Company is currently seeking a Maintenance Line Technician to work at our food processing facility in Columbia MO! Successful candidates must be willing to supply improvements suggestions and ideas to help continue the success of our facility. Ideal individuals must be safety and quality orientated along with demonstrate adaptability and willingness to work in a team orientated fast paced work environment. This position requires individuals to perform general production duties in a food manufacturing environment following strict quality and safety standards.

Whats on the menu

• Complete preventative maintenance tasks to the specification listed on the PM task list and follow up on work orders for repairs.
• Implement root cause failure analysis on equipment breakdowns.
• Develop and improve the preventative maintenance plans.
• Implement planned equipment rebuilds/PM activities across the department.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1year mechanical equipment components and parts experience that includes a background in industrial mechanical machining.
• Industrial Mechanical experience must include good understanding of hydraulics pneumatics power transmissions; and diagnosis and troubleshooting of each in a manufacturing environment. Also prefer welding (MIG TIG Stick etc. and fabrication experience.
• Operations manufacturing experience must include the operating of industrial production machinery and making minor repairs or adjustments to said machinery.

Working Environments:

• Primarily indoors in both a hot humid production environment and cold cooler environment.

• A Team: Sunday Monday Tuesday and every other Saturday from 8 pm 8 am or C Team: Wednesday Thursday Friday and every other Saturday from 8 pm 8 am

Starting hourly rate $33.35
