Job Description

Structural Engineer

Our Client is seeking a skilled and experienced Structural Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience and an EngineerInTraining (EIT) certification. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a diverse range of projects utilizing your expertise to provide innovative solutions. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in our engineering team focusing on structural design analysis and inspection services across residential and commercial projects while adhering to our clients mission statement:To be undeniable and a powerful force for Christ.

Key Responsibilities:

1. **Structural Design and Analysis:** Collaborate with project teams to develop structural designs calculations and analyses for both residential and commercial projects. Ensure designs adhere to industry codes regulations and project specifications.

2. **Project Management:** Take ownership of assigned projects ensuring they are completed within scope budget and timeline. Coordinate with other team members clients and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth project .

3. **Construction Documentation:** Prepare accurate and comprehensive construction documents including drawings specifications and reports to effectively communicate design intent to contractors and other relevant parties.

4. **Site Visits and Inspections:** Conduct onsite visits and inspections to assess project progress structural integrity and compliance with design specifications. Provide guidance and recommendations for adjustments as necessary.

5. **Client Communication:** Maintain regular communication with clients to understand project goals address concerns and provide updates on project status. Foster strong client relationships through effective and professional interactions.

6. **Collaboration:** Work closely with internal teams including architects designers and other engineers to ensure integrated and cohesive design solutions. Contribute to interdisciplinary design discussions and decisionmaking.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.

At least an EngineerInTraining (EIT) certification is required.

Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in structural engineering.

Proficiency in structural design software and tools including but not limited to AutoCAD Revit and structural analysis software.

Strong understanding of industry codes and regulations such as ACI AISC and local building codes.

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal for effective collaboration and client interactions.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.

Strong problemsolving skills with a keen attention to detail.

Demonstrated commitment to professional growth and continuous learning.
