What we are looking for:
Metros Speech Department continues to grow and we are looking for a dedicated per diem SLP to pick up schoolage cases in Suffolk County. The services can be provided in the schools students homes or at one of our outpatient locations.
Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy is a comprehensive multidisciplinary company who offers Physical Occupational Speech Therapy Massage and Acupuncture services. Qualifications
- Licensed SpeechLanguage Pathologist in the state of New York or eligible.Strong CF with existing placement considered.
- Must have TSSLD certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (CCCSLP)
- Evaluates a patients need for speech therapy and develops an appropriate treatment plan.
- Provide appropriate care and treatment to patients based on physician care plan agency policy and professional standards of care.
- Instructs family members Home Health Aides and other caregivers in appropriate speech therapy techniques & HEP
- Mandatory Certifications: First Aid AED & CPR Certifications (live course)
Job Type: Per Diem/Coverage
Pay: $60 per visit 30 minute treatment sessions with opportunity to stack multiple sessions in one location).
