JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for leading the strategy development and of sophisticated credit and pricing initiatives for consumer and commercial lending portfolios. This role is integral to managing credit losses enhancing profitability and shaping the companys mission to advance financial inclusion and access to responsible credit. Will drive endtoend engagements from ideation and advanced analytics to implementation and oversight. Will serve as a strategic thought leader collaborating with crossfunctional teams and influencing key business decisions.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Strategic Leadership:
- Define and execute the vision for credit and pricing strategies that enable realtime datadriven lending decisions for thousands of borrowers monthly.
- Lead the development of sophisticated credit and fraud mitigation strategies leveraging complex data sources including credit bureau data customersupplied information and alternative datasets at scale.
- Oversee the evaluation and adoption of emerging data sources and techenabled solutions to drive automation reduce first and thirdparty fraud losses and improve the efficiency of risk processes.
- Analytical Innovation:
- Build and communicate robust business cases for new risk solutions and data strategies providing comprehensive evaluations and recommendations.
- Conduct root cause analyses to identify underperforming segments propose risk mitigation actions and improve credit performance.
- Design and implement A/B testing and retrospective analyses to evaluate the impact of multiple strategies driving optimization and growth.
- CrossFunctional Collaboration:
- Partner with designated teams to implement analytical solutions into production and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Serve as a key influencer across LendingPoint leadership and crossfunctional teams fostering collaboration to deliver effective and responsible credit offerings.
- Support funding optimization by driving innovation in fraud prevention strategies across business verticals.
- Performance Monitoring and Insights:
- Monitor and report credit performance trends providing datadriven insights to inform swift business decisions.
- Present findings and strategic recommendations to senior leadership ensuring alignment with company objectives and risk appetite.
- Additional Responsibilities:
- Act as a mentor and leader to team members fostering professional growth and ensuring the team remains at the forefront of credit risk management best practices.
- Proactively identify market trends regulatory changes and emerging technologies to keep LendingPoint ahead of the competitive curve.
- Lead highimpact projects and initiatives that further LendingPoints mission of advancing financial inclusion and accessibility.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the minimum knowledge skill and/or ability required.
- Bachelors degree in a quantitative or related field (e.g. Mathematics Data Science Statistics Economics Finance etc. from an accredited college or university preferred.
- 8 years of credit risk management experience financial services or FinTech industry experience preferred.
- 6 years of experience leveraging large complex datasets for driving business decisions.
- Comprehensive knowledge of consumer credit risk trends and first part and thirdparty fraud risks.
- Advanced in SQL Python / R Tableau Excel and PowerPoint.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the logistics duties of this job the employee is frequently exposed to moderate noises such as computers printers and other light traffic noise in an office setting.
This role is inoffice. Remote work may be performed from a preapproved location as arranged and scheduled by team management and approved by department leadership.
