Job Description
The assistant volleyball coaching position supports and complies with the mission of the athletics department in the development and successful administration of a competitive intercollegiate volleyball program. As an assistant coach develop team and individual goals; conduct and administer a program within the goals and objectives of the Athletics Department for all studentathletes and sports programs. Expected to work extended hours early mornings late nights weekends and holidays during athletic seasons. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. travel on a bus or in vans for an extended period of time and be able to stand on feet outside for a long period of time. Must be able to work on a team and adjust to schedules that may change.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Teach & develop sportspecific skills & coaching strategies Assist in the success of team performance in athletics & academics; enforce team departmental institutional & conference regulations & rules Recruitment of quality studentathletes; assist in the monitoring of academic progress eligibility & graduation of studentathletes; exhibit impeccable ethical & moral character Other duties as assigned by Head Coach and Director of Athletics.
