Residential Care Home Manager
Salary: 52000
40 hours per week
Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Residential Care Home Manager to join their small wellestablished care home. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in care home management and a passion for delivering highquality care in a warm and homely environment.
What Were Looking For
- Level 5 in Health and Social Care (Management) with a focus on elderly care
- Proven experience in a home management role within a residential care setting for the elderly
- Strong leadership and communication skills in the context of elderly care
- Ability to work effectively in a homely dynamic environment with a focus on elderly care
- A commitment to promoting diversity equality and inclusion within the residential care home for the elderly
Responsibilities
- Supervise the daytoday operations of the residential care home
- Ensure the delivery of personcentred care to elderly residents
- Manage and support a team of care staff ensuring their ongoing professional development in providing specialised care for the elderly
- Serve as a point of contact for residents their families and external stakeholders understanding and addressing the unique needs of the elderly
- Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with the care team with a focus on elderly care and wellbeing
- Monitor and maintain the standards of care ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines for residential care homes for the elderly
- Manage the budget and resources of the home effectively with consideration for the specialised needs of elderly residents
