Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Residential Care Worker to join our team supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in a group home setting. The ideal candidate will be patient reliable and committed to providing high-quality care that promotes independence dignity and a safe living environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing dressing meal preparation and medication administration

  • Support residents in achieving personal goals and engaging in community-based activities

  • Maintain a clean safe and supportive home environment

  • Follow individualized care plans and document residents progress behaviors and health-related concerns

  • Communicate effectively with team members supervisors and families

  • Respond appropriately to emergencies and follow established safety protocols

  • Participate in training sessions and staff meetings to ensure quality care and compliance with regulations




Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Prior experience in a caregiving group home or developmental disabilities setting preferred

  • Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings weekends and holidays

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Must pass background checks and have a valid driver s license (if applicable)

  • Ability to lift transfer or assist individuals as needed
