Overview:


The Construction Laborer here at Blue Heron will be a part of our boundary pushing Elite division. The Construction Laborer will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machines loading and unloading frequently heavy materials and following directions from supervisors and other skilled tradesmen. To do well in this role you should be physically fit reliable and be a hard worker.


Responsibilities:


  • Sweep and clean the entire jobsite weekly including surrounding streets driveways and walkways.
  • Coordinate and maintain jobsite dumpsters.
  • Clean up all debris and jobsite trash as necessary.
  • Observe and report any potentially unsafe site conditions.
  • Provide assistance to the site superintendent as needed.
  • Coordinate material staging and site access.
  • Install small accessories and parts if/when needed and as directed by site superintendent.
  • Assist with dust control as necessary.
Requirements
  • Reliable transportation
  • Valid drivers license
  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks
  • Lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions
  • Punctual reliable professional
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Willing to learn take direction and be a team player.
