GENERAL SUMMARY/OVERVIEW STATEMENT:
Reporting to the Senior Director of Information Management and Direct Mail the Development Services Associate will provide administrative and operational support for numerous Raisers Edge fundraising and database related projects including but not limited to Prospect Management Database integrity Acknowledgements Gift Entry and Direct Mail.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the daily production of the automated donor acknowledgement letters and receipts by working closely with the Director of Stewardship Information Services Group and various fundraisers within the BWH Development Office. Letters follow a clearly defined process and accuracy and timelines are critical components of departmental success.
Coordinate the operational components of the Hospitals Direct Mail campaigns including oversight of project timeline internal coordination of materials and content and quality assurance of all elements.
Assist with gift entry during peak/seasonal processing times.Accountable for oversight of key data elements within Raisers Edge database including the upkeep and quality assurance of board and volunteer lists prospect manager portfolio assignments department/division tracking etc.
Oversee the deployment of department communications via the SharePoint (Intranet) site.
Coordinate ongoing and new datarelated integrity and tracking projects within Raisers Edge.
Assist with the coordination and specialized enduser Raisers Edge training to fundraising staff.
Provide support to the IS team for all systems and data related projects and implementations including projects that analyze effectiveness of fundraising initiatives both from a financial and missionbased criteria.
Initiate and respond to routine correspondence; drafts memos and letters and other correspondence copy for documents and letters.
Prepare briefings and agendas for meetings. Document all workflow and departmental processes as required; organize and maintain electronic files.
Performs related duties to advance the development operations as requested.

BS degree required with 13 years of experience preferred.
Strong quantitative analytical and problemsolving skills.

Previous experience with Raisers Edge PledgeMaker Advance or equivalent Fundraising system preferred.
