Fusion HCR is hiring! Entry Level Security Analyst Direct Hire Onsite in Las Vegas NV.
Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detailoriented EntryLevel Security Analyst to join our retail companys IT team in Las Vegas NV. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1 years of experience to grow and develop their career in cybersecurity. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and defending our systems against cyber threats managing phishing attempts and ensuring the security of our infrastructure.

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and defending our systems against cyber threats managing phishing attempts and ensuring the security of our infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Security Monitoring: Utilize Microsoft Defender to monitor and analyze system alerts detect potential threats and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
- Phishing Management: Identify and manage phishing attempts ensuring quick resolution and educating endusers on recognizing phishing attacks.
- Email Security: Support the management and configuration of Proofpoint to filter and secure incoming and outgoing email communications.
- System Administration: Assist with the administration of both Linux and Windows environments ensuring systems are secure updated and operating efficiently.
- Incident Response: Participate in the incident response process including documenting and reporting on security events and breaches.
- Security Compliance: Ensure all systems and processes comply with internal security policies and industry standards.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 1 years of experience with Microsoft Defender phishing management and Proofpoint.
- Operating Systems: 1 years of experience working with Linux and Windows environments.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity Information Technology Computer Science or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical users.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
- Familiarity with other security tools and technologies.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security Microsoft Certified: Security Compliance and Identity Fundamentals or similar.
