Job Summary
Trimble in Chennai is seeking a Salesforce Developer for its Cloud Platform Engineering Team to build and run largescale distributed faulttolerant Cloud services.
Technical Skills
3 Years of experience with Force Platform and 1 2 Years of experience in Salesforce Architecture and its limitations.
Experience with Salesforce Best practices for system development and integration.
Strong background in database design and system architecture
Experience doing major transformation from Classic to Lightning.
3 Years of experience developing on Fullstack Force platform.
3 Years of experience with Apex Triggers Batch Classes and @Future Methods Controllers Calling REST web services from Apex generating and parsing JSON in Apex Visualforce Pages and Components Visualforce Remoting Effective Apex unit testing including web service mocking
Experience working with intermediate to advanced queries using SOQL & SOSL.
What you will be doing
Design prototype build document and support solutions for the Salesforce CPQ/Steelbrick capability to meet business needs including configurations customizations and integrations.
Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and perform the build activities to deliver integrated solutions from the design stage to a functional application with a focus on SFDC best practices.
Design and develop Visualforce/Lightning component level solutions to increase programming productivity.
Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for design specifications.
Develop and customize Salesforce applications using Apex Visualforce JavaScript SQL SOAP and REST Web Services.
Create automations to remove manual steps and processes.
Review coding done to advance application upgrade extension or other development. Analyze application for data integrity issues.
Provide system administration support of customized Salesforce applications user permissions security settings custom objects and workflow.
Create and manage Advance Approvals
Solid understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud functionality and experience with Salesforce CPQ.
Experience with CPQ objects used in quote to order processes with indepth knowledge in Product setup Product Options Product configuration & rules Pricing Discounting and Quote templates.
Experience in Lightning Design System with Visualforce pages Lightning Component framework and other necessary UI technologies.
Experience with WebServices Process Builder Workflows Formulas Flow and Assignment Rules and Advance Approvals.
Experience in designing coding and implementing APEX code Triggers Classes and Components.
Experience building integrations with Salesforce using REST/SOAP APIs.
Working knowledge of SAP and SFDC integration is strongly preferred but not required.
Increasing Code Coverage of SFDC instances and maintenance of a quality code base.
Strong customer focus with a high tolerance for ambiguity and requirement changes.
Strong problemsolving mindset to ensure creative and logical thinking for potential solutions.
Ability to be flexible and proactive to facilitate a quick response to changing project requirements customer objectives and meeting global goals successfully.
Responsibilities
Designing and developing custom applications features and integrations within the Salesforce platform.
Provide system administration support of customized Salesforce applications user permissions security settings custom objects and workflow.
Work with cross functional teams to drive improvements/best practices including analyzing and optimizing Salesforce related platform design and setup
Assist with the performance of business analysis in which information about business process and concerns are gathered from key internal business stakeholders
Understand business requirements and map them to technology solutions and perform the build activities to deliver integrated solutions from the design stage to a functional application with a focus on SFDC best practices.
Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for design specifications
Research and implement new functionality features and customizations requested by stakeholders to improve business processes
Strong on new Salesforce features and functionality providing recommendations for process improvements
