Job Description
Abilene Christian University is affiliated with the fellowship of the Church of Christ. All qualified applicants for these positions must be professing Christians active in a local congregation and willing to support the Christian mission and purpose of the university.
Tenure Track position.
This position will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Finance for students in residential and online programs.
Faculty members are expected to maintain a program of intellectual contributions in the form of peerreviewed academic presentations and publications or other forms of professional development for college faculty. Faculty will also mentor students and accept departmental college and university service assignments.
The Dukes School of Finance employs three fulltime faculty members holding terminal degrees. We offer residential undergraduate majors in Finance and partner with ACUDallas to deliver online courses in the undergraduate (BS in Management BS in Marketing) and graduate (MBA and MS in Management) business programs.
ACUs College of Business Administration educates business and technology professionals for Christian service and leadership throughout the world. With AACSB and ABET secondary accreditation the college offers eight undergraduate majors and a Master of Accountancy on the Abilene campus and partners with ACUDallas to deliver two undergraduate and two graduate online programs. The college includes three academic units (Accounting and Finance Department; Management Sciences Department; School of Information Technology and Computing) and two centers (Griggs Center for Entrepreneurship and Philanthropy; Lytle Center for Faith and Leadership).
Terminal degree in financerelated field. A strong record of research experience combined with a commitment to ongoing professional development is expected. In addition excellent university teaching experience is required.
