Essential Job Functions
- Receive review and process import documentation for an assigned base of accounts
- Obtain and process Customs release and other government agency releases as appropriate arranging delivery and invoicing the import accounts to their SOP
- Monitor transactions and notify supervisory personnel of any problem or irregularities
- Provide excellent and timely client service by informing the client of the status of their shipment(s)
- Coordinate the release of goods from the carrier customs or other governmental agency examinations that may be required
- Other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements
- Position may require extended periods of sitting computer use standing and walking. Some light lifting may be required in some instances

- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Must have excellent client service skills responding promptly and professionally to client needs and requests for service and assistance.
- Ability to add subtract multiply and divide using units of U.S. currency weight volume and distance measurements
- Ability to read and interpret documents and write routine correspondence.
- Must be detail oriented with good organizational skills
- Strong computer skills
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Two to three years related experience
- At least 2 year industry experience preferred.
Certifications
- Professional Certification may be required in some areas
