Job Description
Adhering to established standards procedures and policies the Engineer ensures that the boilers and related equipment is functioning effectively in order to provide a safe comfortable and efficient environment for patients staff and visitors.
What must you have
- Must have strong mechanical aptitude skills.
- Must have knowledge of HVAC equipment and its operation.
- Stationary Engineers Certificate.
- Experience in the operation and maintenance of boilers and related equipment.
What else do you bring
- Adhering to established standards procedures and policies.
- Ensures that boilers and related equipment is functioning effectively in order to provide a safe comfortable and efficient environment for patients staff and visitors.
- After conferring with the Chief Engineer to write job order requests order parts and make repairs to ensure that all equipment pertaining to Plant Operations is functioning effectively.
- record all required readings and maintain accurate records regarding the operation of Plant Operations.
- perform the appropriate tests on boilers chillers condensate tanks to determine proper chemical level as per manufacturers instructions.
- Proven attendance record.
- Demonstrates understanding and complies with patient and staff safety policies and procedures that foster a safe and inclusive environment for all.
- Ability to perform the essential duties of the job.
- Effectively uses empathy in interactions with others and demonstrates behaviours consistent with Mackenzie Healths Commitment to Caring.

Preferably your profile also includes:
- Millwright COQ preferred.
- Hospital experience preferred.
