Job Description
What You Will Be Doing:
- Prepare and consolidate financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
- Assist with the monthend quarterend and yearend closing processes.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances and prepare variance reports.
- Coordinate financial statement preparation with external audit team.
- Support the preparation of forecasts and budgets.
- Maintain accurate and detailed general ledger records.
- Research and resolve accounting issues.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Stay up to date on industry best practices.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in financial reporting preferably within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with employees contractors vendors and key stakeholders.
- Must be able to performlight work exerting up to 15pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift carry push pull or otherwise move objects.
- See hear talk and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and visual acuity; kneel sit stand walk crouch stoop reach pull push and other similar repetitive tasks requiring physical activity.
- Able to operate standard office/computer equipment.
