Job Description
Client Name: City of New York
Contract Length (in weeks): 260
SCOPE OF WORK
The Contractors technical resource will engage in client and server software
development on DSNY systems.
The scope of work of the Contractors technical resource shall include but is not
limited to implementing system enhancements and bug fixes including User
Interface (UI) coding using Angular 13 backend coding using the latest Spring
Cloud and Spring Boot framework stacks unit testing peercode review and
containerized deployment on Rancher.
DSNY systems within the scope of work include SMART (the Sanitation Management
Analysis and Resource Tracking system) EIS (the Employee Information System)
UPE (the Uniform Performance Evaluation system) NOVAS (the Notice of Violation
Administrative System) and DS249 (the Complaint Management system)
Requirements
Qualifications:
- 7 years of experience with designing implementing upgrading testing and supporting web and mobile applications.
- 7 years of experience with .NET Framework Java C# and SQL server database development.
- 7 years of experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
- 7 years of experience with Spring Boot Spring Cloud Rabbit MQ and MongoDB.
- 7 years of experience with tools such as Visual Studio GitKraken SoapUI and Postman.
- 7 years of experience with React JS Angular 13.x and type script combination.
- 7 years of experience in managing PHP and WordPress/WPEngine CMS applications along with experience in CSS3 JavaScript and jQuery.
- In depth knowledge of Docker Containers Rancher with Kubernetes and Micro Services architecture.
- Experience with Bit bucket .Net Scripting and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- 5 years of experience working with Agile development technology using Jira.
- Experience and expertise in continuous integration and deployment.
- Working experience with data migration and normalization including Extract Transform and Load (ETL) processes.
- Ability to plan and prioritize work and meet project deadlines.
- Selfmotivated and works well with other groups.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
Additional Qualifications
- Experience with Java 11 .Net CORE 6 and Windows Server 2016 or greater.
- Experience working with cloud services (Azure and Amazon Web Services).
- Experience with Angular 13 React JS 16 and Redux.
- Experience in Microsoft Active Directory and Azure Directory Services.
- Experience with researching and resolving issues with production systems.
- Experience with Docker Rancher and Kubernetes for daytoday operations and service development.
- Experience with IntelliJ Studio 3T Visual Studio and SQL Management Studio.
- Familiarity with DSNY systems processes and data.
- Familiarity with DSNY legacy applications operations and procedures.
- Experienced in gathering and analyzing requirements from application users and subject matter experts as well as working closely with clients to review and edit documentation describing how any particular system should be designed.
- Experienced in devising solutions and testing scenarios following proposed business workflows.
- Knowledgeable and experienced with Software Testing Methodology including the design development and implementation of quality assurance (QA) processes and procedures creation and of business and functional scenarios preparation of test cases analysis of test results and analysis verification validation and progress reporting.
- Experience working with huge volumes of data.
