Merchantman Fresh Seafood & Oyster Bar
The Merchantman Fresh Seafood & Oyster Bar is a 210seat highvolume restaurant located in the heart of downtown Charlottetown. Our Kitchen team strives to use the best of what PEI has to offer to create a delicious menu that not only incorporates amazing fresh seafood but also farmfresh local produce meats and poultry.
As a Line Cook You Will
- Prepare food and menu items to the highest standard
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Ensure food comes out simultaneously in high quality and in a timely fashion
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Clean kitchen and work area
- Follow all operations policies and procedures
- Work alongside the restaurant team to establish a safe and fun atmosphere
Who You Are
- Positive and outgoing personality
- Love for building strong relations with team members
- Flexibility Our backofhouse staff will work a variety of shifts including days evenings and weekends
- A desire for personal and professional development
What You Bring
- Cooking experience is an asset
- A culinary diploma or degree is considered an asset
- Ability to multitask and maintain high energy in a fastpaced environment
