Job Description

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Responsible for the overall management of the Casino Host and VIP staff.
  2. Develops and sustains relationships with VIP guests.
  3. Represents the casino in a professional and respectful manner at on and offproperty events.
  4. Utilizes property staff to resolve any problems to ensure guest satisfaction.
  5. Coordinates all functions related to Player Development with the Director of Marketing.
  6. Implements and streamlines procedures and processes to make guests experiences as enjoyable as possible.
  7. Completes the reporting of department personnel goals both individual and team and coordinates with the Director of Marketing.
  8. Encourages and motivates the team to meet set goals for special events advance hotel reservations and new player signups.
  9. Mentors coaches and develops employees to be effective supervisors and outstanding representatives of Chamonix Casino Hotel.
  10. Provides complimentary amenities to guests who attained the necessary level of play.
  11. Facilitates effective management of marketing information throughout the department and casino.
  12. Maintains strong communication and coordination efforts with all company departments to achieve proper yield management and successful logistics.
  13. Maintains a working knowledge of the casino facility and current and upcoming events on property; advises guests and employees on events.
  14. Regular and reliable attendance is a fundamental requirement of this position. Employees are expected to be punctual and consistently present during their scheduled work hours to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the business.
  15. Performs duties in compliance with the Colorado Limited Gaming Act Internal Control Minimum Procedures internal policies and procedures and Colorado Limited Gaming Regulations.
  16. Performs other duties including special projects as needed and directed.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Demonstrated experience working in the casino industry promoting games and focusing on guest satisfaction. Demonstrated understanding of casino rules and regulations. Demonstrated experience problem solving organizing and prioritizing work.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Bachelors degree and a minimum of two 2 years of related experience and or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Five 5 or more years experience in a casino comping system. Business management and operation experience preferred. Must have experience in a casino comping system.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:Demonstrated effective and diplomatic oral and written communication skills using English.

CERTIFICATES LICENSES REGISTRATIONS: Must have a valid and current State of Colorado Gaming License.

OTHER SKILLS/ABILITIES:Ability to lead motivate direct and inspire casino hosts and player development staff. Strong computer skills including Word and Excel programs Synkros system knowledge good organizational skills ability to accurately perform data entry. Exceptional ability to communicate clearly and calmly; skillful problem solver strong casino industry knowledge and prior hosting knowledge. Must be able to apply superior service quality characteristics courteous prompt professional and confidential. Ability to use sound judgment make quick decisions and deal with difficult guests. Knowledge of gaming regulations.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Essential duties include occasional kneeling squatting bending walking crouching and sitting. Essential duties involve frequent brisk walking climbing stairs stretching standing reaching lifting and pushing materials supplies and equipment. Essential duties require lifting up to 30 pounds and working a flexible work week including weekends with additional hours routinely required.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

$60000 annually based on experience
