The Kenilworth Little Springscamp has been a part of the Kenilworth Park District for 30 years.
Little Springsis an 8weeklong summer camp that runs from June 12 August 4 2023. The camp starts at 9 AM and has two release options 12:00 pm or the extended day option of 1:30 PM.
The Camp Assistant Director is responsible for planning implementing directing and evaluating summer camp activities that contribute to the wellbeing growth and development of children ages 3to Kindergarten. Prior to the start of the camp season the Assistant Director is expected to work as a part of a team that consists of fulltime Park District staff members. The Assistant Directors will workwith staff to help with theplanning of the camp curriculum and any other duties involved in preparing for the season.
The Assistant Director must be 21 years or older possess a valid drivers license have a minimum of two years of experience supervising staff and children and have a college degree in Education Recreation or a related field. Candidates who do not retain an Education Recreation or related degree but have qualified experience will be considered at the discretion of the hiring authority.
