Job Description
This is a hybrid fulltime position in San Jose California.
Position Summary
A Software Engineer holding this position contributes to and influences the design of new features continuously keeps abreast of features being rolled out in major new releases on Linux and Windows and works in the area of machine learning and data science NLP anomaly detection LLMs for cloud security. This position will contribute to the new product development and enhancements to existing products that are called for while addressing customer requirements keeping up with technology advances achieving established product quality goals and meeting timetomarket requirements
Key Areas of Responsibility
Design and train machinelearning models for data discovery and related applications.
Design and implement prediction interface for pretrained models across platforms.
Design and implement trainable models and training workflows.
Build and maintain scalable ML pipelines including MLops.
Enhancing data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building ML systems
Processing cleansing and verifying the integrity of data used for ML model training and prediction
Work with the system test team to define test plans troubleshoot and resolve software defects.
Investigations of relevant standards (e.g. data classification data governance UEBA) and technologies (such as NER LLM knowledge graphs) and design products that integrate seamlessly into the emerging ecosystems and conform to standards
Basic Qualifications
BS Statistics Mathematics Computer Science or equivalent
2 years of industry experience with data science
Handson expertise with data mining and statistical modeling techniques such as clustering classification regression treebased methods neural networks support vector machines anomaly detection and natural language processing.
Expertise in modern advanced analytical tools and programming languages such as Python Scala and/or Java.
Experienced in SQL Hive SparkSQL. Java and Scala programming experience a plus.
Experience with building endtoend reusable pipelines from data acquisition to model output delivery.
Knowledge and passion for solid software engineering practices release processes and project life cycles.
Excellent communications skills both verbal and written. Must be able to write clear functional specifications and design documents and engage with stake holders in technical discussions.
Selfdirected; requires minimal supervision on work products
Strong team player. Willingness to proactively interact with the team and achieve results in a dynamic small company environment
Additional preferred experience/training including:
MS in Statistics Mathematics Computer Science or equivalent fields.
Innovative thinker in all areas of system design and debugging.
Proven ability to initiate original and creative technical efforts.
Ability to multitask and work effectively in fast paced environment.
Familiarity with security software is a plus
Cloud platforms for GenAI such as GCP AWS etc

The anticipated TTC range for this role is 113574..38 USDAnnual. The Company reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation depending on circumstances not related to an applicants status protected by local state or federal law.
