Sprout Social is looking to hire an Account Executive Alliances to the Revenue Partnerships team.

What youll do

  • Use your network to source and generate new business through our Salesforce partnership
  • Perform business development activities to generate netnew leads
  • Respond to inbound referral inquiries by referring them to the appropriate Sprout Social AEs. Ensure that leads are adequately qualified for seamless handoff. Track and follow opportunities to close
  • Create and deliver presentations both internally and externally on the value of our teams working together; surface feedback on how our messaging resonates with Salesforce sellers
  • Develop a deep understanding of Salesforces internal structure goals and challenges with a constant eye towards ecosystem growth
  • Analyze account data and share insights both internally and externally as applicable
  • Ensure the highest level of partner and customer satisfaction
  • Build an internal CRM of Salesforce AEs who participate in deal referrals to Sprout. Enable them so they can evangelize Sprout Social to their customers

What youll bring

As an Account Executive Alliances youll have experience working with and expanding relationships with various parts of the Salesforce ecosystem. Youll represent Sprout Social in the Salesforce ecosystem as well as ensure our internal teams are informed and connected to their counterparts around the world.

The minimum qualifications for this role include:

  • 3 years of sales or account management experience
  • 2 years working within the Salesforce Partner ecosystem as or with an ISV partner with System Implementation partners or both
  • Consistent and measurable track record of success
  • Experience working closely with crossfunctional teams and individuals

Preferred qualifications for this role include:

  • Experience selling to the Retail & Consumer Goods industry
  • Familiarity and comfort with the value that the Salesforce platform provides to customers
  • Strong operations and detailed account management experience (you know the anatomy of a deal and are comfortable diving into the details)
  • Selfdirected and proactive approach to work adept at working in highlydynamic environments
  • Comfortable working with Salesforce reporting and digging into data
  • Strong presentation skills with an eye for detail and design

How youll grow

Within 1 month youll plant your roots including:

  • Partner with your leader to understand the strategic vision for the Salesforce partnership
  • Partner with your leader to define key success metrics for your role and how you will measure success

Within 3 months youll start hitting your stride by:

  • Expanding partner outreach to additional teams and departments
  • Presenting joint GoToMarket story both internally and externally
  • Reporting on inputs & outputs to showcase impact

Within 6 months youll be making a clear impact through:

  • Meeting and exceeding agreed upon revenue and productivity goals and targets
  • Improving the partnership strategy with measurable results
  • Cultivating strong crossfunctional relationships to accelerate the partnerships strategy and results

Within 12 months youll make this role your own by:

  • Consistently meeting and exceeding revenue targets
  • Obtaining and acting upon team peer partner and leadership feedback
  • Iterating on partnership plan to create new opportunities

Whenever possible Sprout wants to provide our team with the flexibility to work in the location that makes the most sense for them. Sprout maintains a remote workforce in many places in the United States. However we are not set up in all states so please look at the dropdown box in our application to see whether your state is listed. Few roles require an office setting. If your position requires a physical presence in a Sprout office it will be evident in the job listing and your offer letter.

In the United States we have two geographic pay zones. This roles On Target Earnings (OTE) for new hires in each zone are:

  • Zone 1 (New York California Washington): $154000 (min) $192500 (mid) 211750 (max) USD annually
  • Zone 2 (All other US states): $140000 (min) $175000 (mid) $192500 (max) USD annually

OTE is governed by an incentive plan. It is the sum of a fixed base salary plus incentives at target performance. Incentive compensation will vary based on performance. The incentive plan is uncapped.

The listed ranges represent the full earning potential in this position. Starting salaries for wellqualified new hires are typically around the midpoint of the range. These ranges were determined by a marketbased compensation approach; we used data from trusted thirdparty compensation sources to set equitable consistent and competitive ranges. We also evaluate compensation biannually identify any changes in the market and make adjustments to our ranges and existing employee compensation as needed.

OTE is only one element of an employees total compensation at Sprout. Every Sprout team member has an opportunity to receive restricted stock units (RSUs) under Sprouts equity plan. Employees (and their dependents) are covered by medical dental vision basic life accidental death and dismemberment insurance and Modern Health (a wellness benefit). Employees are able to enroll in Sprouts companys 401k plan in which Sprout will match 50 of your contributions up to 6 with a maximum contribution. Sprout offers Flexible Paid Time Off and ten paid holidays.
