Job Description

Hire Resolves client a prominent property development and management company specializing in residential and commercial projects is currently seeking a dedicated Junior Health & Safety Officer to join their team onsite.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and monitor health and safety policies in compliance with legal regulations.

  • Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to ensure a safe working environment.

  • Investigate workplace incidents and recommend preventive measures.

  • Provide health and safety training to staff and contractors.

  • Maintain accurate records of incidents inspections and training sessions.

  • Collaborate with management to promote a culture of safety within the organization.

Requirements:

  • Valid registration with the South African Council for the Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP).

  • Proven experience in health and safety within the property development or related industry.

  • Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.

  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

  • Candidates with only civil experience will not be considered.
