Customs Brokerage Manager TCRS4374


HIGH LEVEL OVERVIEW

The Customs Brokerage Department Manager oversees the endtoend clearance process for a 3PL provider ensuring compliance with all U.S. Customs rules and regulations.

This position is hybrid for candidates in Long Beach CA or Plano TX.

EXPECTATIONS

Collaborate with internal and external partners to maintain an efficient clearance process

Full responsibility for all Customs Entries and ISF Filings

Manage 8 employees with full AZ Brokerage responsibilities

Advise on trade compliance issues

Liaise with CBP and PGAs to resolve any clearance issues

Maintain strong customer relations

Create SOP and KPIs to optimize customs clearance process

Understand CTPAT or other government supply chain security measures

Manage department budget including resource allocation and savings opportunities

ESSENTIALS

Bachelors Degree or 10 years experience in customs brokerage required

LCB required

Experience overseeing a Customs Brokerage team (min 5 yrs)

Extensive knowledge of U.S. Customs clearance process with CBP and PGAs

Cargowise software experience

Experience with a team P& L

Excellent communication skills

Analytic mindset with good problemsolving skills

Ability to travel 1015 domestically
