As part of our Technology Leadership Program in the Risk and Security Engineering track youll build securityfocused technology solutions that keep Vanguard safe day in and day out protecting twenty million investors from everevolving threats by staying one step ahead. Are you a selfstarter looking to lead bringing teams together around ideas with purpose Join the crew where disruption is inspired by mission. Here youll develop the programs that serve our crew and investors worldwide. Your participation in technical capstones hackathons and solutionoriented projects will build your skillset to lead our crew internally so we can make a difference for investors everywhere.

The Technology Leadership Program is a twoyear rotational development program available to graduating college seniors who are ready to enter the business world and eager to develop their technical expertise in Software Development and Security Engineering while building their leadership skills. The program consists of three eightmonth rotations.

In this program you will:

  • Build highimpact solutions that enable Vanguard to perform at its best and do whats right for investors
  • Support achieving client outcomes and giving our investors the best chance at investment success
  • Gain handson experience in software development and practice Agile & LEAN methodologies in a dynamic environment
  • Share insights and drive outcomes individually and in collaborative supportive environments
  • Build a network with program managers alumni senior leaders and peers
  • Demonstrate the ability to balance technical and nontechnical (program committees internship support development of peers) work
  • Meet regularly with your department manager and program manager to receive personalized coaching and mentorship

What it takes:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree with a concentration in computer science computer engineering IST IT CIS Security Risk Cybersecurity or related technical/engineering subject matter required
  • Strong interest in web mobile and/or application development
  • Experience with coding languages preferred
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and/or leadership aspirations
  • Effective analytical communication interpersonal and problemsolving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a teamoriented environment

  • This position will begin in 2025 and students graduating in December 2024 or Spring 2025 are encouraged to apply.
