The Division of Cardiology and the Corrigan Minehan Heart Center at the Massachusetts General Hospital are seeking an academic and clinical leader to serve as the Director of the Heart Failure and Cardiac Transplant Service. Candidates should meet the criteria for appointment as an Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School. This individual will be responsible for the full scope of clinical research and educational activities of the service as well as collaborative activities with the other sections within the Cardiology Division and the Corrigan Minehan Heart Center.
Ideally s/he would be an effective leader with a national and international reputation who can guide our efforts across the spectrum of heart failure while working closely with our surgical colleagues in cardiac transplantation and mechanical circulatory support.
Candidates should possess exceptional leadership managerial and collaborative skills have clear evidence for national recognition for research accomplishments and demonstrate commitment to teaching and mentorship.
