About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced Director of Nursing to lead the nursing team located in Sault Ste. Marie. This is an exceptional leadership opportunity for a skilled RN with demonstrated success managing long-term care teams. We are offering a $20000 sign-on bonus) and a chance to make a meaningful difference in residents lives while shaping a compassionate and high-performing care environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursing department ensuring top-quality care delivery.
  • Manage mentor and evaluate a team of RNs LPNs and CNAs.

  • Conduct daily rounds and ensure clinical protocols and standards are upheld.

  • Lead staff recruitment hiring onboarding and ongoing development initiatives.

  • Address and resolve patient family and staff concerns promptly and professionally.

  • Ensure compliance with the Nurse Practice Act as well as state and federal regulations.

  • Serve as acting Administrator when needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Active RN license in the State of Michigan

  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a skilled nursing facility

  • Long-term care experience required

  • CPR Certification


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

  • Knowledge of federal and state regulations related to long-term care

  • Strong leadership and crisis management skills

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $100000 $120000

  • Sign-On Bonus: $20000 paid out over 2 years
