We are seeking a highly experienced Director of Nursing to lead the nursing team located in Sault Ste. Marie. This is an exceptional leadership opportunity for a skilled RN with demonstrated success managing long-term care teams. Key Responsibilities
Manage mentor and evaluate a team of RNs LPNs and CNAs.
Conduct daily rounds and ensure clinical protocols and standards are upheld.
Lead staff recruitment hiring onboarding and ongoing development initiatives.
Address and resolve patient family and staff concerns promptly and professionally.
Ensure compliance with the Nurse Practice Act as well as state and federal regulations.
Serve as acting Administrator when needed.
Active RN license in the State of Michigan
Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a skilled nursing facility
Long-term care experience required
CPR Certification
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Knowledge of federal and state regulations related to long-term care
Strong leadership and crisis management skills
Base Salary: $100000 $120000
Sign-On Bonus: $20000 paid out over 2 years
