To be considered you will need to be an Australian Permanent Resident with unrestricted working rights and be living in Mulgrave (Melbourne) Perth or Brisbane currently.
CPS IT Consulting is working with a longstanding customer to recruit for 2 Permanent L3 Network Engineer / Technical Consultants to be based in Melbourne Perth or Brisbane.
Our client is an established ICT Infrastructure Solutions Provider that specialises in Networking (Wireless and Wired) Datacenter Server and Storage Hyperconvergence Cloud and Cyber Security.
The role of theL3 Network Engineer / Technical Consultant is an external clientfacing position and will require highlevel engineering expertise and experience across Wireless and Wired Networks and Infrastructure. This position deals directly with the end client base primarily with specific IT projects and rollouts. You will serve as a technical leader and the interface between the clients vendors and sales team providing expert knowledge with a wide range of infrastructurebased support and projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks
- Leading technical infrastructure projects from planning through ensuring alignment with business goals
- Resolving escalated support tickets from L1 and L2 resources
Qualifications:
- A specific technical Subject Matter Expert and accreditation in networking switching wireless and network access controls minimum Cisco/CCNA or Aruba/ACSA preferably a CCNP or ACSP
- Certification in either Aruba ClearPass or Cisco ISE
- Expertise in designing deploying and managing enterprise WiFi networks
Skills:
- Proficiency with network infrastructure components such as routers switches WiFi and firewalls.
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and lead crossfunctional teams on larger projects
