YETI is searching for an individual to fill the role of Senior Financial Analyst supporting our Retail channel reporting to our Director FP&A Commercial Growth. Based at our headquarters in Austin TX this role will be a key business partner and key financial support for the Retail and Finance leadership teams. This individual will have active involvement in driving sales and profitability through the Retail channel including forecasting and budgeting reporting monthly real estate reviews as well as any ad hoc requests as needed.
This individual needs to be highly analytical with the ability to synthesize data and make sound business recommendations to management. They must be a collaborative problemsolver who not only understands the numbers but also the broader business context around them. To be successful the Senior Financial Analyst must be able to communicate effectively with the Retail and Finance teams as well as the Senior Leadership Team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain annual budgets long range plan and monthly financial forecast
- Identify business functional drivers and develop methodologies to support indepth analysis and decision making
- Key thought partner in supporting retail expansion and real estate decisions
- Lead review cycle of current fleet in conjunction with lease decision points
- Weekly sales forecasting including full risk and opportunity analysis of the business to help drive future strategy
- Prepare and consolidate monthly and quarterly financial results identifying key drivers of the business performance
- Ensure the achievement of profit objectives and analyze business issues and opportunities
- Provide insightful financial analysis and strategic insight to crossfunctional teams
- Create and maintain complex financial models and dashboards to story tell financial performance to business leaders
- Participate in crossfunctional initiatives and ad hoc projects to provide financial analysis for decision support
- Lead continuous improvement of the Finance support of the growing Retail business. Owning recommendations for automation with actionable solutions
Qualifications and Attributes:
- Undergraduate degree in finance or accounting with strong academic credentials
- At least 4 years of finance experience in an FP&A function with prior experience directly supporting a Retail strongly preferred
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- SAP and/or Tableau experience preferred
- Outstanding analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Known for developing and delivering results on a timely basis
- Able to work in an ambiguous fastgrowing teamfirst environment
- Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgement in stressful situations
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
