Job Description
Packaging Operator 2nd Shift) Hiawatha KS
- Pay Rate: $16.00/hr.
- Shift: 2nd Shift 4PM12AM potential for overtime and weekend work
- Temporary Contract position with Raise.
- Successful completion of a preemployment background check is required.
Raise has partnered with ADM and they are seeking to hire entrylevel Packaging Operators in Hiawatha KS.
The Packaging Laborer is responsible for bagging all finished product per SOPs for the facility.
Job Responsibilities:
- Apply safe operation of all equipment associated with assignments.
- Ensure packaging specifications are met.
- Conduct good housekeeping practices.
- Follow all standard operating procedures and recommend revisions or improvements.
- Exhibit flexibility reliability and mutual respect for fellow employees.
- Report any unsafe conditions or acts to Production Supervisor and/or other appropriate management personnel.
- Work in the most effective efficient and safe manner always.
- Responsibility to identify and communicate food safety and/or product integrity issues to appropriate personnel.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds follow and understand instructions in English.
- Able to stand for long hours
- No previous experience required but having worked in the food production industry an industrial manufacturing or warehouse environment would be a definite asset.
Workers need to have:
- Safety toe shoes/boots
