Job Description
JOB TITLE: Touch-Up Operator - Printed Circuit Boards (2nd Shift)
LOCATION: Clearwater FL
PAY RATE: Up to $22/hour
We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
-
Use microscope to verify part placement orientation and perform pre- and post-solder inspection and touch-up
-
Identify and correct solder defects including poor wetting solder voids shorts/bridges misaligned parts tombstoning and other SMT defects
-
Read and follow instructions identify standard SMT components
-
Work effectively in a fast-paced environment; overtime may be required
-
Sit for long periods while focusing on detailed repetitive tasks
Requirements:
-
High School Diploma or GED
-
Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role with printed circuit boards
-
Above-average surface mount and fine-pitch soldering skills
-
Experience working to IPC-610 and IPC J-STD-001 standards (IPC certification preferred)
-
Ability to perform detailed inspection and solder repair under a microscope for extended periods
-
Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings
-
Strong communication organizational skills and teamwork mindset
-
Basic computer proficiency comfortable using multiple Windows-based programs

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
