Job Description
Reporting to the Director of Residential Life this position is responsible for overseeing program assessment customer care and leadership within the department with a focus on engagement programs and services. This role ensures operational excellence and supports the strategic direction set by the Director. In collaboration with the Director provide critical and strategic leadership to enhance program development the residential experience central administration functions and the fulfillment of divisional and University goals. Serve as the principal advisor to the Director and provide leadership to the department on a daytoday basis. Serve as the point of contact for the department when the Director is unavailable. Provide management and leadership for the departments systems processes and policies that support more than 6200 student beds on the residential campus. Work closely with departmental and campus partners to enhance the residential student experience while assisting in managing 42 residence halls in 11 residential hall complexes.
Desirable Qualifications
Knowledge of best practices related to living and learning programs and services designed to promote student success.
Other Information
This position requires occasional work evenings weekends and oncall hours to respond to emergencies and attend Universitywide programs as needed to support the residential experience.
