Job Description
Position: Neurosurgery PA/NP
Location: Seattle WA
Job Type: Fulltime
Seeking a fulltime permanent Neurosurgery Advanced Practice Provider(APP) to join dynamic and patientcentered team. This role offers theopportunity to work alongside three experienced neurosurgeons in a highlyengaged and supportive environment. Many team members have been with the groupfor years reflecting their strong culture of collaboration and professionalgrowth.
Position Highlights:
- Schedule: Flexible 4/10 or 5/8 shifts based on departmental needs.
- Weekend Coverage: Inpatient rounding firstcontact text messages and hospital coverage (one weekend every six weeks).
- Patient Load:
- Inpatient rounding: 212 patients per day
- Clinic days: 25 per week (varies based on case load and coverage needs)
- OR cases: 16 per day
- Team Structure: Work closely with three neurosurgeons providing support in the clinic OR and hospital settings.
- Call & Coverage Expectations:
- Equitable participation in rounding messaging and call responsibilities with the APP and provider team.
- Flexibility to assist in surgery on other days as needed including covering for APP vacation or illness.
Qualifications:
- Ability to obtain a Washington State medical professional license and DEA with full prescriptive authority.
- New graduates are encouraged to apply!
- Nurse Practitioners must have or be willing to obtain Certified Surgical First Assist (CSFA) certification.
Compensation & Benefits:
