The SAP EWM Senior Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting and enhancing our SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) system ensuring optimal performance and efficiency within our automotive manufacturing and distribution processes. The successful candidate will collaborate with crossfunctional teams analyze business requirements and leverage their expertise to design implement and maintain SAP EWM solutions. This position is responsible to ensure and maintain a high level of support corresponding to the team leads in all activities of the department and ensure active participation in the daily business of his/her functional responsibilities. Need an analytical welleducated knowledgeable experienced and motivated teamplayer with strong IT background work ethic and integrity that will become a key part of ITSAP Team to implement and provide adequate support for EWM modules to SAP users across locations of North and South America regions. Suggest and implement improvements for EWM processes using SAP ERP S/4HANA. Need to provide training to users if needed or requested. This role uses business knowledge IT background SAP concepts and good communication skills.
Project Management and Implementation:
Lead the design implementation and support of SAP EWM solutions.
Manage project timelines resources and deliverables.
Coordinate with various stakeholders including clients team members and thirdparty vendors to ensure successful project completion.
Requirement Analysis and Solution Design:
Engage with clients to understand their warehouse management needs and gather business requirements.
Design and develop solutions to meet these requirements using SAP EWM.
Conduct gap analysis and propose enhancements or new functionalities.
Team Leadership and Development:
Lead the local SAP AMS team members.
Provide guidance mentoring and support to team members.
Conduct performance evaluations and identify training needs.
System Configuration and Customization:
Configure SAP EWM settings according to the business needs.
Develop custom functionalities and enhancements using ABAP or other relevant technologies.
Ensure integration with other SAP modules like SAP MM (Materials Management) SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) and SAP TM (Transportation Management).
Testing and Quality Assurance:
Develop and execute test plans to ensure the solution meets the business requirements.
Oversee unit testing integration testing and user acceptance testing.
Identify and resolve defects and issues in a timely manner.
Training and Support:
Conduct training sessions for endusers and stakeholders to ensure they are proficient in using SAP EWM.
Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for any issues that arise postimplementation.
Develop user manuals and documentation.
Process Optimization:
Continuously monitor warehouse operations and processes to identify areas for improvement.
Implement best practices and industry standards to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Utilize analytics and reporting tools to provide insights and drive datadriven decisions.
Compliance and Security:
Ensure that all warehouse operations comply with relevant laws regulations and standards.
Implement and maintain security measures to protect warehouse data and processes.
Conduct regular audits and risk assessments.
Stakeholder Communication:
Maintain regular communication with clients and stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns.
Present project outcomes improvements and strategic plans to senior management.
Innovation and Technology Trends:
Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in warehouse management and SAP technologies.
Propose and implement innovative solutions to enhance the SAP EWM functionality and performance.
Bachelors degree in Information Technology Business or a related field.
Must have knowledge of EWM module in SAP and have a good understanding of manufacturing business processes. Nice to have interface knowledge with other modules such as SD MM WM and PP.
Must be able to communicate in English. Working knowledge of other languages is a plus.
Minimum 5 years of SAP working experience
Experience in Tier1 Automotive Industry is a strong plus
