Hire Resolves client is seeking a skilled and motivated Structural Engineer or Structural Technologist to join a dynamic team within the construction industry. The successful candidate will play a key role in the planning design and implementation of structural projects with a strong emphasis on commercial developments. This position combines officebased design work with onsite responsibilities offering an exciting opportunity to apply technical expertise and project management skills in a fastpaced environment.
Design and conceptualize structural systems for commercial buildings in compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
Perform structural analysis and create detailed models using software such as Prokon AutoCAD and Revit.
Evaluate loads materials and environmental factors to ensure structural integrity and sustainability.
Develop structural specifications that balance performance safety and costefficiency.
Provide technical guidance and oversight during construction phases ensuring designs are correctly implemented onsite.
Conduct facility condition assessments and structural assessments as needed.
Collaborate with architects engineers and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project coordination.
Monitor project timelines quality and budgets reporting progress to relevant stakeholders.
Stay up to date with industry developments technologies and best practices.
Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering (BSc/BEng) or BTech in Structural Engineering.
Professional registration with ECSA (or in progress).
Minimum of 5 years experience in structural engineering design with a strong focus on commercial projects.
Proficiency in structural design software especially Prokon.
Strong skills in AutoCAD Revit and Microsoft Office Suite.
Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to project sites.
Physically fit and able to work in both office and construction environments.
Excellent problemsolving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
Proven track record of successful project delivery.
Selfdriven highly organized and able to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
