Job Description

Title:AV Coordinator and Learning Technologist

Position Type: Staff Full-Time

Days Per Week: Monday - Friday

Hours Per Week: 40

VP Area: Office of the Provost and Academic Affairs

Department: Elon University School of Law

Position Summary

This position provides technical support for Elon University School of Laws classroom technology; including audio/visual equipment integrated software and other facilities featuring audio and video conferencing systems and administer the online exam system. A successful candidate will have the necessary skills to investigate troubleshoot test recommend and integrate new technologies for law school classroom and online instruction. Typical responsibilities include but are not limited to troubleshooting classroom AV and projection systems monitoring equipment requests and reservations. Additional responsibilities include providing training for classroom technology and exam system. This position will also coordinate electronic exam administration.

Minimum Required Education and Experience

Bachelors degree required. Must have outstanding communication and consultative skills and must be able to apply these skills with faculty and staff at all educational levels. Must be detail-oriented have excellent time management and organizational skills and be able to effectively lead and execute projects and initiatives. Must be able to work both independently and be a team player. Must have a demonstrated broad knowledge of instructional technology tools and their use in teaching and learning as well as audio-visual equipment for supporting events.

Preferred Education and Experience

Prefer minimum of 1 year work experience.
