Position Summary

The Catering Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages at catered events while providing excellent customer service. They ensure a smooth and professional bar operation while adhering to all safety and alcohol regulations.

This role will pay an hourly wage of $18.

EVERGREEN ROLE: Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis; there is no application deadline.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and break down the bar area for events.
  • Mix garnish and serve beverages to guests in a timely manner.
  • Verify customer age and follow responsible alcohol service guidelines.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
  • Manage inventory and restock bar supplies as needed.
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions if required.
  • Engage with guests professionally and courteously.
  • Follow all company policies including alcohol service and safety regulations.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Prior bartending experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of mixing drinks cocktail recipes and responsible alcohol service.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • TIPS or other responsible beverage service certification (preferred or required depending on location).
  • Availability to work evenings weekends and holidays as needed.
